Glazier Express Train and St. Moritz
Hello friends and family: On Sunday we left Gemmelwald and backtracked to Brig, Switzerland. From there we took a scenic train ride of what is called the Glazier Express. It was a slow but scenic ride. We arrive in St. Moritz to cool, rainy weather. We have enjoyed it even so and did get a walk around the lake and a 3 hr. hike today. St. Moritz is a twin city to Vail, Colorado, so skiing is emphasized and the slopes are nice for hiking when most of the snow is gone. Elevation here is 6000 feet--our hike today was much higher than that. We will try to add pictures but we are on a foreign computer so we are uncertain. Tomorrow we leave on another scenic train-bus trip to Lugano, Switzerland where we will be for 3 nights.
