Day4: Monticello Florida 65 miles

The honeymoon period is over.  We had to put our rain gear on today; we had to climb hills and we had some wind in our face.  But it wasn't really too bad. We were able to find food when we needed it. My brother has been telling us we needed to eat biscuits and gravy. That was on the hotel menu so we both had some to start our day.

We Were surprised that there is a lot of logging in this area. Lots of log trucks passed us. The logs are very scraggly not at all like Oregon.. There was a Georgia Pacific  tree farm.

We arrived at a nice bed-and-breakfast at 2:30 PM. We especially enjoyed a nice long hot tub soak. We are in their Romeo and Juliet room😍.  It is getting close to Valentine's Day.

We had our First Mexican meal tonight. Definitely hit the spot.

Tomorrow we bicycle through Tallahassee. We are not sure where we will stay.

Sounds like some romantic evening "options"--hot tub, room decor, Mexican dining...early valentine's day, huh? You deserved the "pampering" after the day's "trials." Keep up your courage!
