Day 56: Kempton to Rensselaer, Indiana. 65 miles

We got an early start.  Our B&B hostess sent us with hard boiled guinea eggs for snacks. We had coffee  (they roast the coffee beans themselves) and granola before getting started at 5:30 am.

The ride went well. Most of the roads were very small and hardly any traffic.  It was a narrow paved road between corn fields most of the way.

We arrived shortly after noon and went directly to the bike shop.  The part for Rons bike had been mailed from Salem on Monday and has not arrived. The people at the bike shop are great and even loaned us a car.  We are staying in another B&B tonight.

If the part does not arrive tomorrow morning we will go ahead and keep riding with the bike as is.  We may have to use our camping gear since lodging is very limited on the route through Indiana.  We are not sure when we will be able to leave tomorrow so our destnation is undecided.

Seriously that is the road you are riding on wow!

Again God's favor to you is shown through strangers.

Isn't there a rest day coming soon where those bike parts can catch up to you?

Safe travels to you my friends, you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
