We both felt sluggish starting today. The first 10 miles seemed to take forever. The weather was perfect for riding and we both got in our groove. We put in our longest mileage day but without hurrying. We got our first view of the rockies. It will be several days before we have to ride over them. I hope you can tell from the pictures how beautiful it is. We are at Flathead Lake. Our last 10 miles were on a bike path, much nicer than riding along the road. Sharon had a flat 3 miles before reaching our destination.
There is a storm with lightning expected tomorrow. We take 1 day at a time. . . but feel very blessed with our safety and health up to this time.
My small tablet computer makes it hard to b very prolific. That is also the reason for the many typos. At least I will put the blame there.

Polson I believe is where Janet Hunsucker was from. I don't recall if either of your boys had her for 1st grade at Sonshine. We stayed at a Lake Mary Rowan back in the early 90's paid 5.40 for a site for the night! It sure does look beautiful. No chance of snow is there as you head for the Rockies? Thankful you got to get off the road for a spell too! You need to post each night your destination for tomorrow...well at least your target destination.
Thanks for being so honest--about the sluggish start--'cause I believe we can all relate to that! We've got rain, cooler weather here; newsman called it "Juneuary!" I hope your weather "cooperates."
Wow, looks beautiful!
the pictures remind me of the dolomites.

ps I had Ms. Hunsucker for 1st grade.:-)
We are enjoying all the pictures. I am looking forward to your next update since the weather forecast was a little "iffy" today. You two are amazing!!
