Day 21: East of Glacier Park. 21miles.

This is one of the days we knew would come on the trip. . .  We started at 6:30am and rode in rain mixed with snow.  We were soaked by the tme we reached SnowSlip Inn. We are 6 miles from the summit. We both agreed it was a good day to "hunker down". We hope our riding clothes will be dry by morning.  It was very cold.  At our intended destination the temperature was in the low 30s.  Someone said the snow level may reach 5000 which is lower than the pass.  The good news is that we are very close to being east of the Rockies and the continental divide.  We will wait until tomorrow to complete that process.  Even our camera was too cold to take many pictures.  It is suppose to be a little better weather tomorrow.  The wind has picked up since we stopped so we are glad to be in a warm cabin.

I wondered if you would have snow in Glacier. Still in good spirits with the weather and still happily married...amazing. Only six miles form the summit was it hard to not want to push that other six out today?
